Hi everybody and welcome to my latest blog. I've finally started the renovation of the barn, when I bought it I knew in my head the major renovations I wanted to do but have lived with it for last 3 months to get the feel of the spaces and how they work for me.

As you know from previous posts I painted the windows and doors in the Summer to soften the outside appearance. Since then I've been wandering round from one room to the next deciding what to do. Now I know this is a common problem and where being a Home Stylist I can help you.

I am going to start at one end of the barn and work my way up, so the first room is the ensuite bathroom. This is a fairly small space measuring 2.8 metres x 1 metre.

This is to the left as you can see it is very dated.

The shower.

Now here are my ideas for the transformation which will not include any structual work.

These are the images I am working with and have sent to the contractor. The bowl sink will be sat on a oak washstand which will give me storage underneath and will be coupled with a waterfall tap.

Above the toilet I am aiming for reclaimed shelves. The shower will be made bigger by bringing it out to the door and having a slimline shower tray and doors that swing inwards.

A new towel rail and floor tiles will be as below:

These are porcelain tiles that resemble wood planks with a grain.

Work is due to start in Jauary, what do you think?

On a different note on the Willow and Hen website I am running a 10% off all current stock promotion please use LAUNCH18 at the checkout.

Have a great weekend and catch up soon.

Sue and the gang xx
