LOCKDOWN MUSINGS FROM WILLOW AND HEN

Lockdown Musings From Willow and Hen

Lockdown Musings From Willow and HenPlease don’t ask me what day of lockdown we are in or even what day of the week it is currently, as I have no idea, but what I do know is how I am dealing with all this. Probably not my normal blog but my honest approach to our current situation.

First week was hard I’m not going to lie, I didn’t know how to act but didn’t want to have a knee-jerk reaction so I took my time to absorb what was going on.

Should I post on social media? I had no intention of posting about lockdown so I decided to post as normal about interiors, products, my dogs and my life.

Oh and the chicken!

Lockdown Musings From Willow and Hen – What would happen to the business?

Should I continue to send out orders, what about the couriers and postal workers, was me sending out my packages putting them in harms way?  I spoke to my local courier who told me she was very happy to continue collecting my parcels and we now have a system whereby I send out parcels on a Tuesday and leave them by the front gate for her to collect. Another tick in the box.

As a thank you to everybody who has supported me over the last 12 months I have been holding weekly sales of current stock, hopefully something you have had your eye on has been included but keep watching they are going to be running for the foreseeable future with new items added each weekend.

Zooming In

Lockdown Musings From Willow and HenHow would I continue to help people with their interior styling problems – Zoom has been my absolute saviour. I am now doing interior styling projects over zoom and absolutely loving it, I can walk around the room with my customer and give them instant solutions to their problems. This is a before picture of a customer I spoke to last weekend who had issues with storage, after our consultation she decided to sell some of her existing furniture and replace with items with extra storage which will be delivered this week – I can’t wait to see the after picture.

Watch out for my next project which is to run a mood board workshop over Zoom!

On a personal level I’ve been up and down, some days I’m really productive and loving the fact I am at home other days I am totally unmotivated, obviously I miss seeing my family, partner and friends but I am running again which is great and I’m hoping to come out of this stronger both in body and mind.

If you would like more details on the interior styling or mood board workshop over Zoom please get in touch [email protected]

Take care
